Arpita Pal Agrawal

Arpita Pal Agrawal joined Dia Vikas Capital Private Limited as Managing Director & CEO in Feburary’23.

Arpita has done PGDM from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and has worked as Managing Director and CEO of M-CRIL inclusive microeconomics, a social enterprise that provides high quality professional services for the economic enhancement of the lives of low-income families.

Previously, she has been a Partner in Big 4 professional services firms. She has over 25 years of management and risk consulting experience with the said firms. Arpita sits on the Supervisory Board of Oikocredit, a social impact investor, and is an independent director of Airtel Payments Bank, the banking arm of India’s biggest Telco.

Manas Bid

Manas holds a postgraduate degree in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi. He has over 21 years of experience in the microfinance sector, including with CARE India’s microfinance program in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. His areas of expertise include sourcing and screening suitable equity investment opportunities in India, performing due diligence, analysing financial statements, risk assessments and equity valuations, and monitoring equity investment portfolios. He is also proficient in capacity building need assessments of MFIs, training design and delivery, and developing resource materials. He represents Dia on the boards of a number of Dia investees.

General Manager

Saurabh Baroi

Saurabh holds a postgraduate degree in Rural Management and has over 19 years of experience in Microfinance. Prior to his current engagement with Dia he has worked with both international and national organisations including CARE India, Access Development Services and CAPART. Saurabh represents Dia in the boards of many Microfinance Investee Companies. Saurabh is primarily engaged in identifying suitable investment opportunities, institutional assessments, negotiating equity and debt transactions, researching business risks and opportunities, analysing of financial statements, monitoring of investee organisations, performing evaluations, mentoring and building the capacity of MFI personnel, and partnership management with the Investee Companies.

Gulshan Singh

Gulshan holds Master’s Degree in Finance with over 10 years of experience in various key positions in domain of finance. His brings to the company multi-faceted experience in corporate finance, internal audit and due diligence, financial analysis & planning, financial management, investment management & valuations. He is responsible for collecting financial information from our partners that are crucial covenants of our partnership agreements. He plays an important role in analysing financial reports of our partners and determining their financial health.
He had joined Dia Vikas in 2015 as MIS & Investment Manager, leading the management reporting function in the investment team. Previously, he has worked with various national & international organisations in managerial capacities.

Company Secretary

Dhruv Sharma

Dhruv has joined the team of Dia Vikas Capital Private Limited as a Company Secretary. He is a law graduate, an fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, holds a graduation and post-graduation degree from Delhi University and IGNOU respectively. He has over 10 years of extensive experience in corporate laws in India in consulting firms and multinational companies.

Dhruv possesses expertise in corporate laws coupled with adequate functional knowledge of finance and taxation. He is acting as a main advisory/execution lead for all major projects and compliances for Dia Vikas Capital Private Limited, being the single point of contact for handling all secretarial compliances of the company.

Chief Financial Officer

Parashar Rathore

Parashar is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years’ experience, he has worked with various manufacturing and service organizations. Joined Dia in 2019 and is steering the Financial Governance, Risk Management and Operational/Strategic Capital Management of Dia and its subsidiaries. Leading the F&A team in accounting, tax compliances, reporting and audit closure

Social Performance & Impact Reporting Manager

Rejoice Parackal

Rejoice Parackal has joined Dia Vikas Capital Private Limited as Social Performance & Impact Reporting Manager in September’23.

Rejoice is a development professional with experience in fields ranging from impact evaluation, public policy analysis, rural livelihoods and climate change adaptation and mitigation. Over the last few years, he has worked with M-CRIL Limited, IIFM’s Centre for Climate Change Studies and The Nature Conservancy Centre, India where he worked on projects funded by UNDP, Cambodia Microfinance Association, HCL Foundation, Ikea Foundation and the American India Foundation.

He holds a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal and a bachelor degree from the Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. He has a data-driven process-oriented approach to problem solving and likes to view issues from a socio-ecological systems point of view.
